Empty

I usually think of the glass being half full, however...

Sunday was a day of emptiness.
Not because it was Fast Sunday and my stomach was empty.
Not because the chapel was nearly empty.
It was empty because my Special Someone wasn't there.

Sure she has been gone many times before, an entire month at one point. Each of those times I knew she was coming back. With her not officially here it is a different 'miss you' feeling. I do miss her very much each instance and every instant she is away.

Yesterday there was a very large part of me missing.
